Wine Corner

From Ashley Anderson, WinePort App Creator

Did you know the month of October is Virginia Wine Month?? Do you know where to find unique, small wineries where you can sit outside by a lake and eat tasty food with a glass of wine? The WinePort app of course!

Throughout Virginia wine month please check out our Facebook site for exciting news, contests and information about the fall festival season.

A recent study concluded that U.S wine drinkers consume 291 million cases of wine per year. Personally I am excited about the increase in the Moscato wine category.

Consumers like their sweet wines! With fall season around the corner think about mulled wines, warm ciders and your holiday meals. Now is a great time to stock up on your favorites for your family and friends!

MEMBER INTERVIEW

Park Bench Coaching for Disgruntled Office Workers with Houkje Ross

SFP Editor: How do you define "Life Coach?

Houkje Ross: A life coach helps individuals to reach a specific goal or to develop a vision for their life. A life coach can help you to take stock of your skills and abilities as well as uncover your passions or the things that give you the most joy.

Many times, people will know only that they feel stuck or dissatisfied with their lives...but not know how to move out of that feeling. A life coach is someone who is trained to ask questions, listen, reflect, and offer specific suggestions to help move a person through change. A life coach can help you to dissolve limiting beliefs that may be holding you back, explore what you would like to create in your life, and guide you through the steps needed to make your new vision a reality

About Park Bench Coaching

Who this is for:

This is a coaching service that is for those who work in the city of Washington D.C. Do you feel like you work in a toxic work environment where you and everyone around you is bitching about how bad things are? Have there been layoffs or budget cuts and now everyone is walking around on pins and needles?

Maybe you work in a place that has hired really top notch consultants or executive coaches to "help" the organization and nothing changed except now everyone knows their Myers Briggs personality profile.

Been there. Done that. So now what?
